The City of San José, CA lit up the Tower and Rotunda buildings in celebration of the life of Eddie Gale, San José's Ambassador of Jazz and his work in the San José community and the world. What an honor. The photos of the buildings from last night are beautiful. If you see the lighting of the buildings honk your horn or make some noise!

The special lighting of the City of San José buildings started last night on Eddie Gale's birthday, August 15 and will last for 5 days.

Go to City of San José's Vice Mayor Chappie Jones' Facebook, Twitter, and Newsletter about the lighting event, and the reasoning behind it.

Eddie Gale's family would like to thank Mayor Sam Liccardo, Vice Mayor Chappie Jones, staff member Grace Kolander, the City Council, Forrest Williams, and mentee Xian Ballesteros for their effort to help make this possible. Wishing Inner Peace to all!
